John Ball Zoo Summer Day Camp
John Ball Zoo’s Summer Day Camp program is a unique, hands-on learning experience for children ages 3 years to those entering 9th grade! Classes are designed for the age students will be at the start of the class or the grade level students will be entering in fall 2013. Whether you choose to attend during the day or overnight, the Summer Zoo Camp programs at the zoo are both fun and educational.
Each class follows its particular theme and uses a variety of methods to stimulate the learning process (role-playing, behind the scenes tours, games, stories, songs and more). Special projects are often brought home throughout the week. Each class has their own room with a qualified instructor and educational aide, and will frequently spend time in the zoo and/or park setting. Class sizes are strictly limited to provide a high quality experience.
Every class up through 6th grade includes a fabric painting project. You provide the item of your choice; we provide the paint and fun! Each child creates a wonderful memory of their zoo class. You can expect your child to have a fun-filled learning experience! We hope you’ll join us for an exciting summer of Zoo Camp!

MEMBER ONLY REGISTRATION UNTIL Monday, March 25.
Non-member registrations made before March 25 will be
cancelled and have to re-register after this date.
Summer Zoo Camp 2013 registration dates:
Day programs (AM, PM or Full day): $65 Member / $70 Non-Member
Overnight: $45 Member / $50 Non-Member
March 18 – March 24, 2013 – early registration for John Ball Zoo Society members
March 25, 2013 – registration opens for non-members
Classes are designed for the age your child will be at the start of the class or for the grade they will be entering in fall 2013.
